HOW WE USE WHAT YOU WRITE
WHO'S ASKING
Capital Legacy is responsible for the #1 Project. It is run on behalf of Capital Legacy by a service provider appointed to build and host this survey, acting as an operator under section 21 of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The service provider works only on instruction from Capital Legacy, and undertakes to keep all submissions confidential and hold no separate copy.
WHAT WE COLLECT
We ask for your name and surname, and the answers to three simple questions. We note the date and time of your submission only to help us track response rates to the #1 Project and identify the need for further staff communication.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
The aim of the #1 Project is to give Capital Legacy staff a chance to share their ideas about client service excellence. The aim is not to assess or measure individual performance and staff submissions will not be used for this purpose.
IS IT VOLUNTARY?
Participation in the #1 Project is entirely voluntary.
WHO SEES IT
Key members of the Capital Legacy Group Marketing team who are co-ordinating the #1 Project will have access to the collated survey responses. They will handle all submissions confidentially. If submissions are to be used more widely in future, these responses will be anonymised.
WHERE IT IS KEPT
This site is hosted outside South Africa. The cross-border transfer of information is regulated by section 72 of POPIA.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
For the duration of the Make Every One #1 campaign and until the #1 Project site is taken down. No other copy will be retained.
YOUR RIGHTS
You are free to request a copy of your submission, or to ask for it to be amended or removed. Please contact Capital Legacy Group Marketing, the team behind the #1 Project. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa by visiting https://inforegulator.org.za or calling 010 023 5200.
